Honey Bees on Coneflower

Honey Bee bodies are made from reclaimed brass light fixtures and spiral filament LED light bulbs, ( non functioning ). Wings are made from computer circuit borads. Computer fan on back with stainless steel  ear tunnels attached. Abdomin is a horse-hair polishing brush. Legs are constructed from stainless steel and rosewood Laguiole knife handles. Head is a copper heart with lithium battery for eyes. Coneflower leaves are made from reclaimed circuit boards and finished with a a high gloss metallic patina, mounted on copper tubing. Blossom centers are solar cells. Background is painted luan. Wooden frame is made from hickory axe handles.
